Caty has a diverse history in the arts, from traveling with the "art of the muppets" exhibit in the early in 1980's, to traveling the world exploring the origins of cloth in ritual, culture, medicine. Caty has been a self employed studio artist for over 30 years, creating figurative fabric sculpture from hand dyed silk. She has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Nepal. Invited as one of America's treasured artists, she was included in the White House Collection during the Clinton administration and has been invited to exhibit work in galleries and museums throughout the United States and Europe. As an award winning artist, teacher, and publisher, Caty ignites audiences with an experiential story cloth and multimedia presentation. She brings examples of textiles and cloth objects that reveal the hidden story of cloth and its role in communication, healing, and sacredness. Caty is a storyteller, a master artist, and an alchemist in the realm of cloth.
