Debra Perry and Dana Marnell

Chapel Hill, NC | Exhibiting Since 2011

Our jewelry is produced by the two of us in our home studio. Dana creates the glass “stones” and Debra designs and creates the wire sculptures that surround them. We enjoy merging our talents to enhance each other’s work. The resulting pieces of wearable art are colorful, distinctive, and affordable, and intended to be worn and enjoyed every day. The wire designs are created from either 14KT gold-filled or Argentium Silver using a variety of techniques: weaving, braiding, sculpting, forging, and coiling. Only hand tools are used. The glass cabochons are made by fusing several layers of dichroic and stained glass which Dana has hand cut from sheets. Smaller pieces often require additional cutting, grinding and a second firing in the jewelry kiln.
