Diane Peck

Tallapoosa, GA | Exhibiting Since 1991

Diane Peck’s functional porcelain pots are handbuilt from slabs with thrown parts. She also makes handmade porcelain tiles and tile mosaics. All of her pieces are decorated with vibrant underglaze colors that are sprayed and drawn on the bisqued pieces. Many of the pieces require a separate application of masking, spraying, and bisque firing for each of the dominant background colors used. Each piece is fired to cone 5 with a clear glaze. Henri Matisse is her biggest influence.
