I have always been fascinated with the 3-dimensional structures found in plants, flowers, and insects.  I have collected many picture books showing these shapes so when I see one that I really like, I draw my own interpretation of it, trying to figure out how to represent it as a 3-dimensional object in metal and etching the different components onto silver.   I love researching and practicing the skills and techniques required to make these pieces possible.  I also make tools to help me form them by hand.  Most of my pieces incorporate pretty stones or pearls and many also contain 22k or 24k gold.
