Ravena Metalworks is my studio practice, where I create sculptural and wearable works that explore organic form, texture, and presence through metal. I work primarily in Argentium® silver, hand-fabricating each piece to highlight its bright white finish, durability, and long-term wear while maintaining a sculptural approach to design.

I use traditional and historical metalsmithing techniques such as Opus Interrasile, an ancient openwork method that plays with negative space, alongside shell forming and fabrication. Through these processes, I translate natural forms into dimensional jewelry and sculpture that feel alive. Leaves, bird silhouettes, and patterns found in nature are abstracted into work that balances strength and delicacy.

My goal is to create pieces that feel like modern artifacts: thoughtfully made, tactile, and enduring. I design my work to be worn, displayed, and passed on, connecting the natural world, material history, and contemporary craftsmanship.

Beyond my studio practice, I teach metalsmithing and work professionally in arts marketing and web design for craft organizations and jewelry retailers. I am a proud member of the Piedmont Craftsmen Guild and a Registered Argentium Metalsmith (Trademark Number AS2408), reflecting my commitment to excellence in fine craft and material integrity.
