Wren Hendrickson (Emeritus)
Asheville, NC | Exhibiting Since Reciprocal Artist
Wren Hendrickson is a master goldsmith whose handcrafted jewelry is a celebration of nature, intuition, and meaningful design. Her work is rooted in traditional fabrication techniques—each piece is made entirely by hand, not cast or molded—resulting in one-of-a-kind creations that reflect the patterns and textures of the natural world.
For over two decades, Wren and her late husband, Ted Hendrickson, co-owned and operated Goldworks, a beloved fine jewelry store in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their reputation for artistry, integrity, and custom craftsmanship made Goldworks a destination for meaningful, beautifully made jewelry.
Today, Wren continues her creative journey from her studio in Asheville, NC, where she specializes in custom nature-inspired jewelry, from organic engagement rings to reimagined heirloom pieces. She works in rich tones of 18K and 14K gold—yellow, white, rose, and green—often pairing them with warm-colored diamonds and hand-selected gemstones.
“My jewelry evolves from my heart,” Wren says. “I listen as I create, letting the design flow through my hands, heart, and mind.”
With a deep respect for the stories jewelry holds, Wren brings a personal touch to each piece—creating lasting art to celebrate love, transformation, and connection across generations.
