As of March 1st, 2022, masks are suggested but not required to enter or shop in the gallery. We still have masks and hand sanitizer for those that require it.

Our Gallery is where visitors engage their senses and their sense of wonder.

Artfully designed and full of light, it radiates the warmth of the hands, hearts and imaginations that create the work you’ll find here: intricately designed textiles, turned wooden bowls, skillfully thrown pottery, delicate blown glass, sculpted metal, inventive jewelry and sumptuous wearables. With rotating monthly exhibitions and a constantly changing inventory, the Gallery of Piedmont Craftsmen will always surpass your expectations with the widest selection and highest caliber of hand crafted objects and quality customer service to match.

Shoppers will find a wide range of work available, from small gift choices to decorative and functional items for the home, to exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces. If you are excited about owning things that go more than a few steps beyond the ordinary, we can help you build your crafts collection or assist you with a gift registry for any special occasion.

The Gallery and Shop are open five to seven days of the week, depending on the season, and for First Friday Gallery Hops. Gallery Hops are the first Friday of every month, times are usually 6pm-10pm.

Representing traditional and contemporary crafts from the United States, Piedmont Craftsmen showcases emerging and established artists working across the spectrum of fine craft media. Every month, the gallery curates a two-person, group or solo exhibition along with off-site shows featuring a variety of media. Through our exhibitions, artists collaborate and have the opportunity to display a larger body of work than the usual gallery space permits. The guild takes great pride in its high caliber of artists and our exhibitions, visit often to see what’s new!

Artist of the Month: Bob Kopf

Artist of the Month: Bob Kopf Open August 1 – September 27 Piedmont Craftsmen is proud to feature wood artist Bob Kopf as our Artist of the Month for August and September. With a deep reverence for the natural beauty of wood, Bob transforms carefully selected pieces into elegant forms that highlight both craftsmanship and organic character. Known for his refined turning techniques and subtle design sensibility, Bob’s work balances form and function—combining smooth lines, precise detailing, and rich grain patterns. Each piece is a quiet celebration of the material’s integrity, whether it’s a finely turned vessel or a sculptural object that blurs the line between utility and art.
