At the 62nd Annual Piedmont Craftsmen Fair, we were proud to recognize five exceptional artists with our 2025 Awards of Excellence. These awards honor outstanding craftsmanship, originality, and mastery of material across a range of media.

2025 Awards of Excellence Recipients

Veronica and David Bennett — Glass

Linda Gourley — Works on Paper

Jaana Mattson — Fiber

Gay Smith — Clay
Gay Smith’s clay work was honored for its refined forms, surface quality, and expressive presence. Her ceramics demonstrate a high level of mastery and a clear, cohesive artistic vision.
