Ginger Jackson Williamson (Emeritus)
Oak Ridge, NC | Exhibiting Since 1991
Over the past decade, Ginger Williamson’s work has centered on black and white photography. She performs virtually all of the photographic processing activities by hand, ranging from the printing of processed film through the selective toning and hand-tinting of images. Her most recent artistic output has been photographic montages, involving the layering and overlapping of two or more photographs. She creates an image with a dream-like quality stemming from the contrasting physical locations and related ideas or feelings. Her subject matter involves the use of landscapes, still-life and architecture.
