As a non-profit organization, Piedmont Craftsmen relies on donations from individuals and groups. Your support means that we can continue to grow and evolve as a guild that creates opportunities and experiences for artists, lovers of fine craft, and our community.

Here is where your money goes:
Exhibitions: every year, we present about 6 shows in our Trade Street gallery, featuring a variety of work in different media, with varying techniques and styles, and focusing on different themes. We also stage workplace exhibitions around the Triad, and occasionally we mount off-site exhibitions in partnership with other groups.

Educational Programming: We present demonstrations at our annual Craftsmen Fair, and bring fine craft instruction to public school classrooms and to under served populations with the support of grants from foundations and grants, and individual support helps us match those funds to cover our administrative costs.

Piedmont Craftsmen’s Fair: our annual Craftsmen’s Fair wouldn’t be possible without our generous donors and sponsors. Your gifts help us keep the Grande Dame of Craft Fairs fabulous and vital.

Community Engagement: we are excited to use your support to build new cultural initiatives. In craft, there are so many opportunities to explore the cultural ethnic beginnings of fiber, clay, wood, metal and any other medium. This programming is made possible by the support of donors and corporations who care deeply about our community.
