Asheville, NC | Exhibiting Since 2023

I grew up with parents who loved arts and creativity.  When they hosted a traveling puppeteer who came through our town, I learned to sew.
Through middle and highschool, I worked on larger projects, making my own clothes and experimenting with art quilts.  I moved from Louisville to Asheville to attend Warren Wilson College, graduating with a Global Studies degree in 1998.
After two years of teaching, I moved to New Mexico to study with the same woman who taught me to sew — the traveling puppeteer.  She and her husband showed me the ropes of how to make a living making art.  I returned to Asheville and began my business in 2001, taking several classes at Penland School of Craft along the way.
I love making clothes in my home studio.  I dye, print, cut and sew everything.
