Kathy and her husband, Mike, also a glass artist, have been doing art shows and exhibiting in galleries since 1999. A native Floridian, the attention to the Arts drew them to their Western North Carolina home in the mountains several years ago. Kathy enjoys combining kiln formed glass with sterling silver, copper and gold filled wire, and her handmade sterling beads to create one of a kind jewelry. Her coiled links and free flowing style reflect her interest in the spiral form so often seen in Ancient cultures representing the Circle of Life. Her work can be found in several North Carolina galleries in addition to Piedmont Craftsmen.
